San Juan Del Sur is another beach town located on the Nicaraguan Pacific coast line. San Juan Del Sur is the number one beach town in Nicaragua and home to a lot of expats and rich Nicaraguans.

Buying groceries

Although there are several restaurants and bars along the beach that offer beer, soft drinks, snacks, cigarettes etc there aren’t any kiosks or grocery stores there so you need to leave the beach and go to main street or beyond if you want to buy groceries to make your own dinner or want some fruit and bread for your packed lunch.

Internet in Las Penitas

There is only one Internet café in Las Penitas: Cybersol. Located at the bay in the southernmost part of the village (right next to the Juan Venado Nature Reserve), it has five computers and will also allow you to connect your own laptop to their wifi.
